Brooke's Room

Brooke was viciously attacked by a dog at her babysitter’s house while her mom was working in October of 2017. Brooke sustained severe facial trauma as well as trauma to other areas of her body. She underwent surgery to repair the injuries on her face. Her mom shared that she suffers from frequent night terrors.
A Room to Heal decided that Brooke could use a room designed just for her. A place where she can feel safe and rest while she heals from her reconstruction surgeries.

The theme of Brooke’s room is “Doc McStuffins”, a nurturing six-year-old girl who cares for stuffed animals and toys in her playhouse clinic. Brooke’s Mom shared that at bedtime, Brooke went right into her bed for the first time in months, snuggled and said “night, night!“ She couldn’t believe Brooke wanted to sleep alone in her new bedroom!
