Emmett's Room

Emmett was diagnosed with Leukemia in November 2015. He spent a month in the hospital recovering from a bone marrow transplant and came home to an awesome new bedroom! While Emmett was recovering, A Room to Heal Volunteers were renovating his bedroom so he would have a comfortable, healing space at home.
The Buffalo Sabres themed bedroom was designed by Michael Michalski from Ethan Allan, the furniture was generously donated by this store. As you can see by his huge smile, Emmett is thrilled with his new space! We hope it will bring him lots of joy for years to come!!
A special thanks to project managers Carol Athans, Sheila Allman and her husband Gene and family for hours of hard work and dedication to creating this healing bedroom for Emmett.
