FEATURED HEALING PROJECT
MEET ADELINE! Adeline is an adorable 8 year old with Aicardi-Goutieres" Syndrome type 2., a rare genetic disorder that causes progressive neurological deterioration. In addition to physical and neurological effects, immunosuppression leads to a much longer recovery times after being ill.
A volunteer team, led by L2Studios, will design a special space for Adeline. She works really hard when she's at school and in PT, so our goal is to create a space where she can rest and recharge. When we asked what she wanted to see in her room, she replied, "palm trees!" Adeline loves the beach, sunsets, palm trees, horses, and the color pink.
