Phatar's Room
November 22, 2005 – August 9, 2018
August 9, 2018 Phatar entered into eternal life surrounded by family, friends, Mercy House staff, and volunteers. Even though he was only 12 years old, he was wise beyond his years. The world was enriched by his presence, and oh what a presence he had. You will never be forgotten, Phatar.
Phatar was a wonderful boy who enjoyed school, basketball, and football. He had Rhabdomyosarcoma (RMS), RMS causes tumors to develop in the body’s soft tissues.
Phatar shared a room with his brother. He asked for a basketball themed room, so that is what he got! He liked the Cleveland Clippers and his brother is a Clippers fan. Our team of volunteers added bunk beds to give them more floor space, storage in the closet to help keep things organized, a soft rug, new dressers, and a TV.
Thank you to our volunteer team for creating a space perfect for Phatar!
