Aria's Room

Aria is a girl who has defied all odds. When she was one, she had multiple seizures, causing significant swelling of the brain. Defying doctors’ predictions, Aria is now three.
A Room to Heal created a space for Aria, and her 2 older sister, to receive therapies and a space where Aria can continue to heal. Storage solutions were added to keep the room organized, foam floor tiles add to the safety of the space. Modular furniture can be used for both sitting or playing. Many sensory item were added: a bubble tube, wall lights that change colors, a mirror with LED color-changing lights, a tent, a weighted/vibrating pillow, and a weighted Stitch. Princess wall decals and cozy rugs finished off the space.
We hope all three girls enjoy their new room!
Thank you to Brushes Over Broome for painting the room. Thank you to Linda Snyder for leading this project and volunteers David Snyder, Joe Weigand, and Linda St. Pierre for giving your time to help a wonderful family.
