DaVinci's Room

We are excited share the completion of a super special room transformation we finished up for DaVinci! He's a truly brave 8-year-old who's been managing cerebral palsy and recently had a tracheostomy to help him breathe easier.
This project was special for us because it was a wonderful full circle moment. When we realized DaVinci's dad worked at Matthews Auto Group, a long-time friend and partner of A Room to Heal! We knew right away that we had to make this room happen!
DaVinci's new space is complete and super cool! We've made it comfortable and fun with dinosaur wallpaper and decor, a cool tomato chair, and necessary additions for his care team, like a recliner and storage.
We didn’t forget about DaVinci's best little brother! We included him in the fun with a special Paw Patrol and Spider-Man gift basket just for him.
It's just amazing how the community steps up every time. Seeing different people and groups come together like this made the whole experience awesome. Wishing DaVinci and his family lots of joy, happiness, and comfort in his new digs!
A huge thank you to Melissa Godoy for leading this project and completing it in record time! Thank you to Jim and the volunteers from Matthews Auto, Amy Sickles for coordinating the volunteers from Matthews Auto, Karen Dwyer for her wallpapering assistance, and Loreta Paniccia and Patrick Hollenbeck for all of your help getting the room finished up!
