Graysen's Room

Graysen is a 5 year-old boy, with a dynamic personality, who is up to any challenge. He is playful and happy. Graysen is an absolute delight! Graysen was diagnosed at birth with Arthrogryposis and has had several surgeries at Shriner’s Hospital in Philadelphia, with more to go. The goal is to gain use of his legs and arms and to be able to walk someday. He has learned to use his mouth to hold a paintbrush and other things, and can use touch screens such as an iPad by using his face/nose.
Graysen’s room was designed to celebrate his joy in nature and has become quite the outdoorsman, participating with his family on hunting and fishing trips. His outdoors themed room incorporates many of the automated features to allow him control of his environment and to be more independent.

Many thanks to...
The Krebs for their sponsorship of Graysen's room. "The mission of The Krebs from day one has been to operate the restaurant as a vehicle to help women and children charities in Central New York. There are so many great organizations that help so many people that are in need in our community. They are the true heroes and we want to do anything we can to support and help those that are less fortunate. We look forward to helping many more organizations for many years to come,” commented Kim Weitsman, owner of The Krebs restaurant.
National Floor Center of Binghamton and CK Construction of Tioga for working with our design team and other vendors to provide materials and labor to create the room.
