Noah's Room

Noah is an adorable 2 year old who has a genetic kidney disease that requires him to have nightly dialysis until he receives a kidney transplant. Despite everything he’s going through, he is a spunky, easy going, happy boy.
Noah LOVES the movie Cars, so that became the theme for his room. A large wallpaper mural is the main feature in the space. We added a cabinet with colorful storage to help keep his medical supplies organized. Heavy duty shelving in his closet holds the heavy boxes of dialysis supplies. A washable rug, washable chair cover, and white changing pad covers (that can be bleached) will help keep his room clean. We mounted his tv on the wall and added a footstool so his parents can be comfortable while holding and rocking him during dialysis. Toy storage and a bubble tube add some “fun.”
Our team also added tall storage pieces to Noah’s play area and organized his toys, giving him more floor space for therapy and play. We hope you love your new room, Noah!
Thank you to Brushes Over Broome for painting his room! Your staff always go above and beyond, showing genuine interest in the family and child we’re helping, and making sure the space is painted beautifully.
Thank you to our volunteers Kathy Macri, Joe Wiegand, Linda Snyder, and Virgil Sehn for all of your hard work! Thanks to Billie Taylor for another wonderful meal! Thanks to Taylor Lee Fit for referring Noah, and to Aaron at Raymour & Flanigan for personally delivering his dresser so we’d have it in time for the reveal.
