Quinn's Project

Another healing project finished! Quinn is 13 years old, he has Lennox-Gastalt syndrome (LGS). LGS is a rare, severe form of childhood-onset epilepsy. He also has NF1, autism, and developmental delays. Despite his challenges, Quinn has a great sense of humor and is very mischievous. 😊
One of the goals of Quinn’s project was safety. He lacks safety awareness and tries to go outside when he wakes at night. An alarm on the exterior door was donated and installed by Alert Alarms Inc., multiple alarms were also added within the home. Quinn is also a sensory seeker, so he was given sensory items, a spinning chair, chewelry, and fidget toys. Wall mats were provided to keep him safe and protect the walls in his room. Quinn loves space and Halloween, so he got new space themed bedding, a galaxy projector, and a handmade space/Halloween themed quilt by Sue Surgent. He also got a cool beanbag chair!
Quinn’s mom said he loves his new bedding and all of the sensory toys. 🩵
Quinn’s project was sponsored by Chomyszak Chiropractic, thank you so much!
Thank yous also go out to Deborah Haas Eckhardt for leading this project, Alert Alarms for helping to keep Quinn safe, and Chris at Racker for his guidance and help.
