Remi's Room

We had the joy of revealing a brand-new Healing Space for Remington. Remi is an amazing 6-year-old living with a hypothalamic optochiasmatic glioma (NF-1). Because her tumor is on her optic nerve, Remi is legally blind.
Remi picked The Nightmare Before Christmas as her theme, and we designed her space with her low vision in mind—like a large TV for her favorite shows, an Alexa, more lighting, and a Tonies system that reads her books when her eyes are tired after school. Remi's closet received an update with added storage and her new bed also has lots of room for storage and space to display photos and knick-knacks.
Remi was SO grateful, she thanked us a bazillion times and was smiling nonstop. 💛 She loves her new room, is obsessed with the Jelly Roll photos, and couldn’t wait to tell her Uncle that her TV is bigger than his!
