Shayla's Room

Shayla had her gall bladder removed in August of 2014 and is recuperating at home. She has lost 20 pounds, became very weak and was unable to do much. She suffers from digestive issues, and pain in her stomach, joints and bones. She was home-schooled from January to June, and will likely begin her senior year being home-schooled this fall. She is a student at Maine-Endwell High School and hopes to attend college and law school.

Local designer, Angela Grasso, led a team of volunteers to create a modern, sophisticated room for Shayla. A grey pallete makes the room very soothing. Mirrored furniture, luxurious drapes, and contemporary accessories are the perfect finishing touches.
